Church of St Jude and St Paul

A Grade II Listed Building in Islington, London

Church of St Jude and St Paul

The view shows the stretch of King Henry’s Walk bridging across the overground tracks linking Dalston with Canonbury, in Islington. On the right side of the photograph, a lady comes walking with a pitbull on leash –omnipresent breed of dog in working class communities across London these days. Overlooking the scene is the Grade II-listed Anglican Church of St Jude and St Paul.
Quiet Dalston’s backstreets provide an utter contrast to the hustle and bustle of its high street.
