Semi-detached villas. 1839-41. Yellow stock brick set in
Flemish bond with stucco dressings; Welsh-slate roofs with
projecting eaves and centre brick stacks. Side-hall entrance
plan to no. 19, and central-hall entrance plan to no. 21. Two
storeys and basement; no 19 2-window range, the outer entrance
bay recessed, no 21 3-window range, having a one-bay extension
to the right. Full-height stucco reveal articulates property
division. Steps rise to doorways with Roman Doric columns
carrying cornice-heads, 4-panelled doors and patterned
fanlights. Ground floor gauged brick round-arches to 6/6
sashes with curved and radial glazing bars and margin lights.
No. 19 with cast-iron window guard in Rococo style. 1st floor
sill band to 6/6 sashes with gauged brick flat arches.
