Pair of houses. c1840. Gault brick, hipped slate roof. Front and rear central stacks, central end wall stacks. Two 3-bay, 2-storey houses. Plinth, first floor band of 3 courses, cornice band. Front has narrow recessed panel to party wall; verandah with slim quatrefoil cast-iron columns, zinc canopy and valance. Each house has central 6-panelled door, that to No.3 with upper 2 panels glazed. First floor has 6-pane sashes with cambered gauged brick arches. Ground floor has casements with segmental gauged brick arches, painted stone sills, margin glazing, original opening panes, louvred external shutters.
