Row of mid C19 terraced houses. Red brick in Flemish bond,
slate roof, red brick stacks. Rectangular principal block with
rear extension. 2 storeys and cellars, arches remain. Front S
elevation: irregular composition of symmetrical, mirror imaged
Nos 26 & 28, straight jointed to Nos 24, 26 & 28 each of
single window range, doors on outer edges. 28, round arch
headed doorway, C20 fielded panel door. Both windows
voussoired, straight heads, sashes with glazing bars, 3x4
panes. No.26 has simple rectangular door surround, bead
moulded, simple hood removed, door C19 of 4 flush bead-moulded
panels. Both windows are segment headed, sashes with glazing,
4x4 panes (lower sash, ground floor now only 2 panes.) No.24,
2 window range, simple moulded door frame and hood, door C20,
6 fielded panels. Ground and one first floor window slight
segment heads, sashes with glazing bars, 4x4 panes. Other
upper window blocked. Stacks irregular, one on E gable, one
through roof pitch shared by 26 and 28 and one, larger at roof
apex over doorway of No.28. W end: blank. E end: obscured.
