2 houses. Early C19 with some C20 refurbishment. Timber-framed
and rendered, brick, slate roof, red brick stack. Rectangular
plan of street range and full length rear out-shut. 2 storey
and cellars. Front S elevation: render has old ashlar lining
considerably repaired. Mirror imaged pair of single window
range with door to outer edge, 2 doors, 4 windows in all. All
details early C19. Windows have shallow cornice hoods with
recessed decoration and moulded architraves, horned sashes,
cellar grilles. Doorways have flat cornice heads on brackets,
reeded jambs, plain frieze. Doors of 6 flush bead-moulded
panels. Stack at ridge slightly off-centre to E. Rear N
elevation: 2 storey lean-to has irregular fenestration. Ground
floor, 2 C20 doors, one (No.36) fully glazed 3x5 panes, other
simple with upper glazed light, also one C19 casement. First
floor, C19 2-light casement as below. C19 metal casement 3x3
panes and one C20 single-light casement. E end elevation:
plain shape of house and lean-to, brick except for upper part
of house, C19 simply shaped barge-boards. INTERIORS. Plain
