Town house. Early C19. Local granite and other rubble with
granite dressings including plinth, rusticated quoins,
mid-floor strings and shallow segmental arches; hipped
asbestos slate roof with slightly projecting eaves; brick end
stacks. Deep plan including rear wing at right-angles on left.
3 storeys; 3-window range. Original 12-pane hornless sashes;
fluted pilastered doorway on right with moulded entablature;
panelled reveals, 6-panel door and overlight. Left-hand return
has ground- and 1st-floor windows: 4-pane hornless sash over
original 16-pane hornless sash in opening spanned by reused
C17 chamfered lintel. Rear has original sashes including tall
round-arched stair window with fanlight head. INTERIOR: not
inspected except to note panelled window shutters and moulded
and carved ceiling cornice to front room.
