HELSTON

SW6427 CHURCH STREET 631-1/4/36 (West side) 22/05/72 No.48 (Formerly Listed as: CHURCH STREET (West side) Nos.44, 46 AND 48)

Town house. Early C19. granite and Elvan ashlar with rusticated quoins, mid-floor string and segmental arches; asbestos slate roof, hipped on the right; stuccoed panelled stacks with octagonal shafts over front corners; brick stack on left. Double-depth plan. 2 storeys; regular 2-window-range street front; symmetrical 3-window garden and entrance front to right-hand return. C20 twelve-pane horned sashes; garden front with blind windows except for central sash over doorway with panelled reveals and 6-panel door. INTERIOR not inspected but likely to be of interest.
