Bandstand approx. 70m SE of St Annes

Bandstand. Probably c.1890-1914. Cast-iron with sandstone base
and felted wooden roof. Octagonal plan. Ashlar plinth with
rounded coping; slender cast-iron columns with fluted bases
and voluted caps, and upper sections with ornamental open-work
brackets and spandrels (including lyres and scrolls); brackets
to prominent oversailing eaves. Flat wooden ceiling. Shallow
polygonal roof with wrought-iron crest. One of an associated
group of promenade structures.
