GV II

Town house. Late C18 or early C19, eaves heightened early C19.
Granite ashlar with plinth and 1st-floor sill string; lintels
to 1st floor, flat arches with projecting keyblocks except for
round arch over central doorways; cast-iron ogee gutters. 2
storeys; symmetrical 3-window front. Early C19 twelve-pane
hornless sashes; 6-panel door and Y-traceried fanlight.
INTERIOR not inspected but likely to be of interest.
Subsidiary features: high rubble walls attached at rear left
of house and returned parallel to rear; scantle slate coping
and red clay ridge tiles.
