House, formerly farmhouse. c1730, altered later C18.
Timber-framed with brick skin. Roof of black glazed pantiles.
Late C18 facade is to south-east. 2 storeys in 3 bays. Central
panelled door with glazed upper panels. Acanthus-scrolled
consoles support moulded hood. 2 three-light mid C19 cross
casements to ground floor under hoods on labels. 3 similar,
smaller, windows to first floor without hoods, that to left
replaced. Dentilled eaves cornice. Gabled roof, the gables
supported on moulded brick kneelers. C20 internal gable-end
stacks. C20 outshut and C20 wing to rear. INTERIOR. Prominent
wall plates and jowled principal studs. Roof of 2 tiers
staggered butt purlins and collars.
