House, possibly formerly 2 houses. c1830-50. Flemish-bond
brick, stone stepped voussoirs, pantile roof with brick stacks
to left party wall and right of centre. Double-depth plan. 2
storeys; 4-window range. Flat arches to C20 windows to the
first floor; service door to far right with no windows above;
the main door to right of centre has hipped roof to a
trellised porch; to right a window similar to those of houses
to left, Nos 40 & 42 (qv) ie semicircular-arched with stepped
voussoirs to a 8/8-pane sash with margin panes. To left a late
C19 single-storey canted bay with 9/9-pane sash window to the
front. INTERIOR not inspected.
