GV II

House. Early C19 with earlier origins. Painted roughcast with
slate roof and brick ridge stack to right of door.
Double-depth plan. 2 storeys, 4-window range. Right range,
attached to rear of No.14 Fore Street, has C20 glazed door;
second from right range has early C19 six-panel door under
overlight with 2 glazing bars and C20 triangular wood porch.
Far left and second from left are C20 triangular planked
doors. All windows are 8/8-pane sashes. INTERIOR: greatly
altered, but some C17 chamfered beams remain on ground floor.
Included for group value. The rest of Howard's Row is altered
and not of listable quality.
