Light industrial building, now offices and store. Probably
C18, refenestrated late C19. Render grooved as ashlar, shallow
pitched slate roof with steeper pitch to end bay left.
Irregular facade: 2 and 3 storeys, 1:2 bays; all windows many
paned 2-light sliding casements unless otherwise stated,
second floor 2 windows set below eaves, first floor 3 windows
irregularly placed to left of tall 4-light shop window with
sliding sashes, upper portions with glazing bars, ground floor
to left of shop window half-glazed door, 2 windows beyond,
segmental-headed plank door and window, door beyond in section
of wall.
Interior not seen. Part of the roof has probably been raised.
The building may have been connected with the flour mill
opposite that was demolished in the mid C20. Forms part of a
group with Nos 1 & 3 Chapel Street (qv) abutting to north.
