Employees' war memorial fountain. Sculptor William Aumonier, memorial unveiled November 1921.
Ashlar. Large standing figure of a woman and a dying man on a square base.
Pedestal with swagged tablet front and rear, and on either
side a tablet with segmental pediment. At the front corners, a
pair of water spouts in the form of fish held by cherubs.
Rectangular plinth with rounded ends, with a water spout in
the centre and a fish at each corner. The structure stands in
a rectangular pool with shouldered rounded ends and moulded
coping. The memorial commemorates company employees killed in
the First World War.
