High Flags Mill

GV II

House, now offices. c1800, with mid C19 and late C20 additions
and alterations. Brick with ashlar dressings and concrete tile
roof with 2 gable stacks. Plinth. 2 storeys; 2-window range of
plain sashes with wooden lintels. Central 6-panel door with
panelled recess and overlight, flanked by single
segment-headed 16-pane sashes. Ground floor openings have
painted splayed lintels. To right, single-storey office
addition. To left, a 4-panel door and overlight, and to right,
2 plain sashes. All these openings have segmental heads. Right
return has 2 transomed windows. This building may have been
connected with High Flags Mill (qv), of which it is now a
part.
