GV II

House, now vacant offices. Mid C18, with alterations 1887,
restored and with additions c1990. Brick, with rendered rear
elevation, ashlar dressings and renewed pantile roof with
coped gables and single gable stack. Moulded wooden eaves,
gutter and brackets. 3 storeys; 7-window range of renewed
12-pane sashes with brick flat arches and keystones. Above,
seven 6-pane sashes. Below, central brick doorcase with
sandstone entablature and pediment, dated 1887 and inscribed
"National Works". Fielded 6-panel door. On either side, 3
windows.
