SP 31 NE South-east Lodge with gate
2/11 and railings approx 200m
south west of Lee Place

Gate Lodge, gate and railings. Early C18. Coursed squared
limestone rubble with ashlar dressings; stone slate roof.
Rectangular plan, now double-depth. North elevation facing drive
has central half-glazed door with plain architrave. Gable to
public highway has projecting end stack finished in ashlar. Small
window with leaded panes inserted beside stack. Other gable
facing Lee Place (qv) has glazing bar sash in plain architrave.
Raised verges with flat copings and plain eaves band. Plain iron
railings and gates with spearhead standards attached to right.
C20 extension in similar gabled style to rear now forms a parallel
range with door projecting to left.
