Boundary post, c1840. Cast-iron T-shaped post with low pedimented top. Lettering; HEYTESBURY on right arm, KNOOK on left arm. C & M/W/1840 on top of post, representing Carson and Miller a firm of Warminster ironfounders. One of a series of
boundary posts and cast-iron milestones erected c1840 on Warminster radial turnpike roads.
