Farmhouse. C17, possibly with earlier core. L shape plan, the main wing
facing north. Timber framed core, colourwashed brick casing; plaintiled roof.
Single storey and attic. 4 window range, 3-light casements, square leaded
panes; doorway with 4-panel door; the doorway and the 2 right hand windows have
raised brick surrounds, with a continuous brick band above; 4 flat-roofed
dormers, the windows mostly with square leaded panes. Dutch gable end to right
hand side, with brick bands at eaves level and upper part of gable; C19 single
storey brick dairy wing to left hand side with large 3-light window. One
internal stack and one gable end stack to left hand side. The rear wing has a
Dutch gable end to the south with brick band at eaves level and pairs of
blocked windows at first floor and attic levels; gable end stack.
