GV II
House. Mid-to late C18, extended late C20. Roughly coursed limestone rubble;
stone slate roofs. 2 storeys and gable-lit attic. 3-window front; leaded
casements (possibly original) with wood lintels directly below eaves and one to
tower left, all of 3 lights except first-floor centre of 2. Original
fenestration pattern to ground-floor right destroyed by C20 lean-to with
Contemporary half-glazed door and possibly reused leaded casements; 3 irregularly spaced gable dormers
in roof slope. Integral ashlar end stacks with moulded dripstones and capping Interior:
Inspection not possible at time of resurvey (August 1987) but likely to be of interest. Lower C20
extension with gabled half-dormers to left is not of special architectural interest.
