County Hall and Market House

A Grade I Listed Building in Abingdon, Oxfordshire

County Hall (now Abingdon Museum)

Uploader's Comments

Abingdon old County Hall (now Abingdon Museum).
This photo, taken in Jan 2012, shows the newly renovated and cleaned building which had been cloaked in plastic and scaffolding for more than a year. Further work is continuing but the museum is due to re-open later this year.
Hot cross buns are thrown from the rooftop to mark important national occasions such as royal weddings and jubilees.
