SOPWORTH THE STREET, ST 88 NW (west side) 2/162 North End Farmhouse 12.12.51 GV II

Farmhouse. C17 with late C19 alterations. Coursed rubble to south front, render to east facade with stone dressings, wooden lintels and barge boards and gabled stone slate roofs with 4 tall ashlar stacks. L-shaped plan with main range set at right-angles to road. South front of 2 storeys, 3 windows. Tall gables through eaves line to each end and smaller gabled window in roof between; C19 two and 3-light casement fenestration. Central gabled porch off- set to right with latticework to sides and ornamental barge board: plank door; further barge boards to the 3 gables. The 3 south stacks have moulded caps and bases.
