Former lifeboat house and watchtower, now in commercial use. c1860.
MATERIALS: Rubble with granite quoins and red-brick arches and flush strings; dry slate roofs with projecting eaves with exposed moulded rafter ends and purlins; crested red ridge-tiles.
PLAN: T-shaped plan. EXTERIOR: Italianate style. Two-storey tower, single-storey lifeboat shed. Round-arched single-light windows except group of three lights to first-floor front of tower; large three-light transomed window under segmental arch to rear end of lifeboat house; front doorway under similar arch with original transomed fanlight over part-glazed doors; oculae to tower gables.
INTERIOR: Simple where inspected.
