House in row, with shop. Early C19. Flemish bond brickwork,
tile roof, brick stack. Plan: 2-room right-angle plan with a
central stair well.
3 storeys and basement, 2-windowed. 4-pane sashes in exposed
boxes, painted brick voussoirs, stone cills. Under a flat C20
fascia a C19 pilaster shop front, with central glazed door,
and 2-pane display windows. To the left, under a blocked
transom-light, is a door to the throughway. Above first and
second-floor lintels a single brick string course, and a high
parapet blocking course, returned to the brick party-wall
stack, right.
INTERIOR: details include a right-hand open-well stair with
ramped rail, stick balusters and column newels; C19 fire
surrounds to first floor; 2-panel doors; brick-lined cellar;
roof not accessible.
