Shop and dwelling. C17, with C19 and C20 alterations. Rendered
with incised masonry patterns and C20 plain-tile roof.
Probably 2-unit plan originally.
2 storeys and attic; 3-window range. C20 shop front to right
of centre. Canted bay window to left of centre. C19 horned and
quartered sash windows to 1st floor with moulded, rendered
surrounds. Rendered plinth and painted lead rainwater heads
either end of coped parapet. 3 gabled roof dormer windows with
2-light casements.
INTERIOR: cellar/basement has chamfered spine beams and 2
fireplaces with chamfered bressumers. Probably partly used as
a basement kitchen. Boxed spine beams to 1st floor.
Bolection-moulded wood surround to corner fireplace in
1st-floor room to rear. 3-bay roof with collar trusses.
Round-arched bracing to collar with chamfers. 1 tier of
purlins visible.
