Town house, now restaurant. C18. Stucco on studwork to front,
otherwise painted rubble; fairly steep C20 scantle slate roof
with half hip on the right, 3 hipped dormers, hipped rear wing
with C20 triangular dormer on its right; brick stacks on
right. Single-depth plan plus 1-room-plan wing behind
right-hand side. 2 storeys plus attics; 3-window range. Late
C19 or C20 four-pane horned sashes within wooden moulded
architraves. Ground floor has late C19 corner shop front with
doorway to splayed corner on the right, 3-light shop window to
front, 1-light window to return; plinth, consoles over scribed
pilasters and sloping fascia with moulded cornice. INTERIOR
not inspected but likely to be of interest.
