GV II

Row of 4 houses, now shops with accommodation over. Late C18 or early C19 . Stucco and some dry slatehanging; hipped asbestos slate roof; cast-iron ogee gutter to end of No.19 (left). Rectangular plan with 4 shops at the front, shallow service rooms at the rear. 3 storeys; overall 6-window range with second (from left) bay blind. C20 shopfronts: Nos 19 & 20 have identical shopfronts under the same moulded entablature with fascia and spandrel brackets; No.21 has moulded entablature with fascia, and cornice carried on consoles; No.22 has possible C19 fascia hidden behind a C20 sign. Late C19 horned 4-pane sashes, except early C19 sixteen-pane sashes to 2nd floor, copies to 1st floor, to No.22. Tall early C19 stair sash with glazing bars at rear. No.19 has early C19 twelve-pane sashes to upper floors of left-hand return wall. INTERIORS not inspected.
