House. Early to mid C19 (said to have datestone 1847). Coursed
squared sandstone with quoins, slate roof. Rectangular
double-depth double-fronted plan, plus service wing attached
to rear left corner. 2 storeys and 3 windows, symmetrical;
central round-headed doorway with imposts, keystone, panelled
door and fanlight with radiating glazing bars, protected by
early C20 wooden and glazed porch; 12-pane unhorned sashed
windows with raised sills and wedge lintels; prominent moulded
gutter cornice. Gable chimneys and ridge chimney offset left.
Left gable wall has 2 similar windows except 1st floor rear
which is blind with painted glazing bars, and small porch to
rear. Rear: windows with small-pane glazing (probably
altered). Service wing in 2 portions, the first 2 low storeys
and one window, stone at the front and brick at the rear; the
second single-storey, all stone.
