GV II

House, part of a terrace. c1820. Limestone ashlar; roof not
visible. Double-depth plan. Mid-Georgian style. 3 storeys and
basement; one-window range. Pilasters, rusticated ground
floor, plat band, cornice and parapet, a Doric doorcase to the
left with an open pediment, entablature and attached columns,
and a 6-panel door, round-arched ground-floor window with
rusticated voussoirs and C20 windows. See also No.49 Ashley
