Terrace of 6 houses. c1844. By William Armstrong. Stucco with
limestone dressings, roof not visible. Late Georgian style.
Each of 3 storeys and basement; 2-window range. Articulated by
pilasters to a cornice and parapet. Right-hand
semicircular-arched doorways with consoles to moulded
canopies, 6-panel doors and tear-drop fanlights; plain windows
with 6/6-pane sashes, smaller on the second floor which are
set in semicircular-arched recesses. INTERIOR: cornices and
ceiling roses, a right-hand dogleg stair with turned balusters
and newels. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: attached spear-headed
basement area railings.
