Terrace of 5 houses. c1850. By William Armstrong. Stucco with
limestone dressings, roof not visible. Late Georgian style.
Each of 3 storeys; 2-window range. Articulated by pilasters to
a stepped cornice and parapet. Left-hand semicircular-arched
doorways with consoles to moulded canopies, 6-panel doors and
tear-drop fanlights; No.22 has a small late C20 porch with
moulded jambs; plain windows with 6/6-pane sashes, smaller on
the second floor which are set in semicircular-arched
recesses. INTERIOR: left-hand dogleg winder stair above the
doorway, with turned balusters and newels. SUBSIDIARY
FEATURES: attached spear-headed area railings.
