GV II

House, now offices. Early C18. Render with limestone
dressings, roof not visible. Double-depth plan. 3 storeys;
4-window range. Banded pilaster strips to a C19 shop front
with large fascia consoles and cornice, over 3 segmental
arches with keys with a narrow central doorway; rusticated
pilaster to a cornice and full-width pediment. Architraves to
windows, with tall keys on the first floor to steep broken
pediments, raised dentil cornices on the second floor, and a
third-floor sill band and raised cornices; plate-glass sashes,
with casements on the upper floors. INTERIOR: a rear stair on
the left with square moulded balusters, square newels with
finials, wainscot, and a glazed rear roof.
