Terrace of 4 houses and shops. Early C19, with mid-late C19 shop fronts. Stucco with limestone dressings, party wall stacks and a pantile hipped mansard roof. Double-depth plan. Each of 3 storeys, attic and basement; 2-window range to Nos 19 & 21, 1-window to Nos 23 & 25. A stepped terrace of 2 pairs with ramped parapet, and a ramped cornice to Nos 23 & 25, articulated by pilaster strips. No.19 has a C19 shop front with a central doorway, flanking plate-glass windows and reeded pilaster jambs to a fascia and cornice, curved in over the door. No.21 has a left-hand semicircular-arched doorway with plate-glass fanlight and 6-panel door, C19 shop front with pilaster jambs and a fascia cornice. No.23 has a right-hand semicircular-arched doorway with a batswing fanlight and 6-panel door, and a C19 shop front as No.21 with semicircular-arched panes. No.25 has a C20 shop front. 6/6-pane first-floor windows, 2/2-pane sashes to No.25, second-floor sashes with margin panes to Nos 19 & 21, and paired to No.23; paired single dormers. The left-hand return has a single-window range, with a semicircular-arched doorway with 5-pane fanlight and 6-panel door, and semicircular-arched windows above. INTERIOR not inspected.
