House, now houses. Late C18 to probably C17 core. Painted
brick; plain tile roof; brick end stack to left, C17 brick
stack to rear. 3-storeys and cellar; 3-window range: 6/6
sashes in plain cases, under gauged brick flat arches; 3/3
sashes over; brick modillion eaves. Central C19, 6-panel door,
with fanlight, in plain round-headed case under moulded hood
on plain pilasters; to left, inserted C19, 6-panel door in
moulded case under moulded hood on plain consoles. At left and
right, 6/6 sashes; to left, early C19 sashes. Right gable:
brick faced to projecting earlier roof line, with C20 plain
tiles, slate hung above; stepped painted brick and render
chimney. Wing to rear: 2-storeys and attic INTERIOR: early C19
stick-baluster staircase, fireplace; queen-strut roof; stone
lined cellar with chamfered ceiling beams, fireplace. Wing to
rear: rubble with exposed ceiling beams and roof trusses; elm
winder staircase.
