9/322 No 15 (Bleak Cottage)

GV II

House, sometime shop. Early C19. Painted brick and slate roof. Two storeys
with moulded eaves cornice to half-hipped roof with stack to rear left.
Two margin light glazing bar sashes on first floor and range of wooden
casements in pilastered surround with cornice, originally for a door and
shop windows on ground floor. Half glazed door to right in elliptical surround with
rectangular fanlight and glazed sidelights, similar to the glazing to the
workshops behind the adjoining Bleak House. Included for group value.
