Pair of gate piers. Early - mid C19. Ashlar sandstone. Square-
sectioned outer piers have plinths and cornices; the left pier built
up in single blocks (now slightly displaced). Attached inner piers
each with protective bollard, sunken panel and moulded band beneath
flattened-scroll bracket. Included for group value.
