Dated 1626, perhaps incorporating older work. Traditional building, with single-storeyed centre (now with floor inserted) and 2-storeyed crosswings with finials to gables. Walls now rendered. Stone roof. Very large tripartite range of mullioned and transomed windows to centre with later floor inserted behind. Arched and moulded doorway with initials TOM in spandrels and date over. Wide mullioned and transomed windows to wings with some mullions missing to east. Central lean-to at rear. Interior has good original decorated plaster ceiling in west front room, a little in east room and some fragments in room above with date 1635 and initials O above IM. Ceiling of corresponding room to west said to have collapsed shortly before inspection (not seen). Some early joinery and displaced panelling etc. House now divided into 3.
