This picture appeared on the sale brochure when the mill was sold by Allied Mills, who closed it after taking over the owners, J. G. & B. Thompson. Thompsons had operated since the early 1890s. The waterwheel is some 36 feet in diameter and was reputed to be the third largest in England.
