GV II

Lodge. c1841 with later rear addition. Painted brick with
fishscale tile roof with brick rear stack with fluted shafts.
L-plan, front to left. Tudor style. Single storey; 3-window
range. Verandah under main roof has brick piers and scalloped
fascia and barge-boards with finials to 2 gablets. Entrance to
right end has panelled door. Window to left end has 2-light
casement with pointed panes, moulded sill and panelled
shutters; central canted oriel has small-paned casements with
pointed lights and panelled shutters; window to right has 3
pointed lights. Right return has 2 gables, one with finial.
Rear has left return have barge-boards and finials. Built as
part of the development of the abortive Bishopton Spa.
