Cottage. Probably late C18-early C19, refurbished circa 1975. Plastered cob and
stone rubble; stone rubble stacks topped with C19 and C20 brick; thatch roof,
pantile to outshot.
2-room plan cottage facing north. Through passage right of centre with stairs
rising to rear of the smaller right (western) room. End stacks. Outshot on left
end and circa 1975 kitchen extension to rear. Cottage is 2 storeys.
Not quite symmetrical 2-window front of C20 casements with glazing bars and a small
third window ground floor left. C20 front door with hipped thatch hood. The window
to right of the doorway is flanked by vertical strips of local conglomerate
sandstone as if the window is blocking a doorway. Roof is hipped to right and
gable-ended to left.
