Two headstones. Mid C19. Portland stone. Set very close
together, inscriptions towards tower: (1) Stone to segmental
head, plain thin surround to sunk panel bearing figure of a
sailor gesturing towards a draped urn on a monument. Small
scroll decorations to head. Inscription almost worn away, but
JOHN GREEN just decipherable; (2) Immediately to right of the
last, stone to segmental head, with sunk panel to upper part
bearing a two-masted ship in full sail. Inscription below
almost worn away, but ... JOSEPH ... decipherable.
