House in row. C17. Painted rubble walls; steep asbestos slate
roof with 3 raking dormers breaking the eaves; truncated rear
lateral stacks. PLAN: single-depth plan with hall bay to rear
right; later lean-to at rear left and later lean-to on left.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 3-window range. Possibly original frame
with C18 16-pane casement to ground-floor right; similar C20
copy to 1st-floor centre, otherwise late C19 or C20 4-pane
horned sashes in heightened openings. Doorway left of centre
with late C19 latticed wooden porch with bracketed gable hood;
4-panel door with top panels later glazed. Original planked
and studded rear door.
INTERIOR: original chamfered joists with ogee stops to hall
left and with rear lateral splayed fireplace with chamfered
lintel and oven; chamfered and stopped; joists to kitchen left
with partly-blocked fireplace; through passage with C18 muntin
and plank partition returned beside straight-flight staircase
right of doorway and with three C17 scratch-moulded muntins;
C19 balustrade and feet of probable original trusses visible.
