House, now Labour Party Headquarters. Mid C19. Flemish-bond
Fletton brick, stone stepped voussoirs, cills and doorcase;
pantile roof. Double-depth plan with rear extension. 3
storeys; symmetrical 3-window range. Bracketed eaves above
3/6-pane sash windows to second floor, 6/6-pane sashes to the
rest. Classical style doorcase with pilasters, cornice and
blocking course. Rear has 6/9-pane sash windows to first floor
and late C19/early C20 full-width single-storey extension to
ground floor. INTERIOR not inspected. Clearly post-dates
adjoining house, No.7 (qv).
