1862 Gothicised almshouses, E block on 3 sides of garden. Polychrome brickwork.
Centre of main range facing road has 3 bay arcade, 3 light group of pointed
1st floor windows, steep gable above with timber framing of cusped quatrefoil
pattern, surmounted by small clock tower with slate spire. Flanking centre
are slightly recessed, steep hipped gabled bays with applied framing to crowning
gablets. Hipped gables to end blocks as well. Steep gabled porches on foliate
capped columns. Picturesque.
