Farmhouse, C17, altered. Coursed random rubble with quoins, stone slate
roof, large projecting chimney stack at right gable. Rectangular 3-bay
plan with lean-to extension to 2nd bay; otherwise, two storeys. Rear has
buttress to 3rd bay, and 5-light double-chamfered stone mullion window with
a hoodmould, (other windows altered). Left gable has a blocked window at
ground floor, and a 4-light double-chamfered stone mullion window with
hoodmould at 1st floor, (2 lights blocked and one mullion missing). Built
into wall of extension, next to present front door, is a carved head.
Interior: chamfered beams with cyma stops; original stone fireplace in
situ but concealed, and a beam (or lintel) on stone brackets built into
wall above it.
