Public House. Probably of late C16 origin with later
alterations and C19 and C20 additions. Double-depth plan.
Brick with painted timber-frame pattern; tile roof with brick
stacks. Single storey with attic; 3-window range; 2-storey
addition to left. Segmental-headed windows have C20 casements;
2 gabled dormers, smaller one to left of gabled porch; small
re-entrant block under catslide roof; addition has casement
window to 1st floor; large stack to left end of single-storey
range, which has cross-axial stack and right gable-end stack.
Rear has parallel gabled range with cross-axial stack and
two-storey gabled wing. INTERIOR: chamfered beams with run-out
stops; fireplace with fire beam and inserted range with crane;
muntins of partition wall remain; small exposed panel of
wattle and daub.
