Pair of houses in row. Late C18/early C19. Rendered, slate
roofs. Two storeys and attic, 1+1-windowed. Central flush
hipped dormer with pair of sashes, sashes without bars to
ground and first floor. Central stone-cheeked porches to
weathered slab roof over C20 doors. Stone gutter, brick
stacks, raised verges. Swept down roof at rear, and ashlar
lean-to to No 131. A characteristic modest pair of Island
cottages. Part of a group of "typical small terraced houses"
set back at the widest part of this broad street.
