Town house with later shop. Probably C18, remodelled mid C19.
Incised stucco on studwork to front with anthemion keyblocks
over 1st-floor windows; moulded architraves and sill blocks to
2nd floor; rag slate roof; shared brick end stacks.
Single-depth plan plus rear wing on right. 3 storeys; 3-window
range. Late C19 four-pane horned sashes. Late C20 shop front
with splayed doorway towards right. INTERIOR: visible to 1st
floor from staircase behind chamber on left is the head of a
pointed rubble arch with rubble archstones suggested as
possibly medieval and surviving from the friary complex; or
may be the original late C18 stair window opening. C20 floors
and roof structure.
