Detached house. C17 origins, modified. Rendered rubble,
asbestos-cement slate roof, stone stacks. Plain gabled range
with cross passage and heated room each side; later stair
returns over doorway to S.
2 storeys; 3-window range. 2-light casements at eaves level
above a 3-light, a small blocked square light with chamfered
surround, and a 3-light, all under a continuous stone rough
drip course. To the right of the blocked light is a C20 door
recessed in plain reveals. The rear has 2 half-dormers above a
later brick lean-to running almost the full width of the
property. There is a large external gable stack to the left
(E), and a gable stack to the right.
INTERIOR: not generally accessible, but a C19 or C20 timber
dogleg stair is situated to the right of the main entrance.
