4/43 Archway, 35 metres
south of
Wigthorpe Hall

G.V. II

Monumental Gateway. Late C18. Ashlar. Tripartite. Set on a
plinth. Projecting pedimented centre archway, 3 steps up, with
moulded arch and imposts, flanked by similar single archways with
imposts and moulded cornices. Removed from the demolished
Carlton Hall. Included for group value only.
